Pooja Roy is a UGC-NET Qualified Nutritionist holding her BSc. Degree in Food Science and Nutrition management from Jadavpur University, West Bengal and MSc. in Dietetics and Community Nutrition management from Vidyasagar University, West Bengal. Additionally she did her P.G Diploma in Dietetics and Applied Nutrition from Jadavpur University. Furthermore, she has qualified UGC-NET exam in 2017 and 2018. She was associated as a PhD. Research Scholar in Jadavpur University for 2 years and completed a RUSA funded research project on “Sustainable green technology for development of a food supplement based on antioxidant synergy of serotonin, melatonin and L-tryptophan from supercritical carbon dioxide extract of gamma irradiated tomatoes”. Her interest lies in the disease related conditions and life style managements. She believes that a good nutrition reflects in the physical and mental health of a person. As a Nutritionist it is her sole responsibility to listen, understand and empathize to every person’s lifestyle and prove a proper solution. She believes that “Our Health is in our hands”.
